Current Professional Memberships

Artists of Yardley, Yardley, PA
Artsbridge, Lambertville, NJ
New Hope Art League, New Hope, PA

Nancy has been very active in supporting the arts through board membership on the Boards of the Philadelphia Sketch Club, Philadelphia, PA and Artsbridge, Lambertville, NJ. While living in Connecticut, Nancy founded and developed an art group within the Silvermine area. The first Silvermine Community Artists in Residence show was held at the Silvermine Tavern in February 2005, with 25 participants; it is an active group that continues today. While living in Hong Kong, she was chairperson of Artists Abroad from 1998 - 2000 and curator and vice-president during 2001.

Special Projects

Most recently, Nancy developed a project, "GeoArt - The Travelling Art Portfolio" in which former members of Artists Abroad, a Hong Kong-based art group which included a diversity of nationalities, passed a portfolio among nine artists who have gone their separate ways and are now living in the US, Hong Kong, Australia and Bali. Each artist contributed a piece of art as the portfolio came to her. The one rule of the project was that the portfolio could not be mailed; it had to be passed by hand to each artist. The portfolio started its journey in Houston going to Hawaii, Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong, Sydney, Bali, Seattle, Washington DC with its final resting spot in New Hope, PA. The journey took three years. This project reflects the closeness that the members of Artists Abroad have maintained over the years despite the geographic separation Each artist in Artists Abroad benefited from exposure to a variety of artistic influences represented by the nationalities of the members, including Indian, French, British, South African, Australian, American, Korean, and Chinese.
